Connecting to the Wireless Network

ITS began offering WPA wireless in September 2007.

You should always connect to the RIT wireless network using WPA.  WPA adds extra security by encrypting data and authenticating connections.

Here are the instructions:

• Windows XP
• Windows Vista
• OS X

In case you didn’t know, Engineering House is one of the only places on the residential side of campus to offer official RIT wireless.  The wireless was a gift several years ago from the department of Electrical Engineering for completing a project for them.
